• Make sure that when you turn on the computer, you log in as an administrator.

• For Windows 8, Windows 7, or Vista, go to C:/Users/username/AppData/Local/Temporary.

• On Windows XP, advance to C:/Documents and Settings/username/Local/ Setting to get to the Temp files.

• Delete all the files in the temporary folder.

• Try installing QuickBooks again using the installation files you copied to your Desktop (in the previous method), and check if QuickBooks Error 1335 is rectified.


Method 4: Windows Update

• Use the Start menu to open the Control Panel.

• Look for "update" and open the Windows update window.

• The subsequent step requires Checking for updates.

Method 5: Edit data1.cab

· From the start menu, open the Run Window.
